Quick update from the archive, because things got weird and exciting fast.
Two weeks ago I released a fake generator as a joke about counterfeit culture. As of tonight, over 100 people on X are wearing counterfeit archetypes as their profile pictures. On purpose. For money.
Here's the state of things:
The forger rate is live. Your registration date locks your mint price — forever. Right now it's 0.001 ETH, and it rises every Sunday (0.001 → 0.002 → 0.003 → 0.004) until registration closes Aug 16. Each week's tier holds only 200 forgers. The earliest 50 mint free; that tier filled in the first day. First deadline: this Sunday night.
The bots came. Two separate farms hit the registration page this week — one submitted 400+ wallets with auto-generated names, seconds apart, trying to squat the cheap tiers and force real people into pricier ones. All of them are gone. Every purge frees slots and protects your rate. I check profiles continuously; the fake has to actually be on your profile.
How to get in: roll a fake at latestage.app/fake, wear it as your PFP, register your handle + wallet on the page. The live rate board shows exactly where things stand — and there's a CHECK MY RANK button, because I know you'll want to.
The real ones — all 2,500, hand-picked, endlessly animated — mint August 18 (allowlist stages Aug 18, public Aug 19 at 0.01 ETH). The reveal happens the moment it mints out.
